Alastair and Jackie Black moved to the Byron Bay hinterland in 2005, attracted by the North Coast’s permanent greenery, spectacular scenery and beautiful beaches near by.
Settling on a stunning 110 acre farm, overlooking the lush Corndale Valley, they built their home and EarthHouse’s boutique accommodation from beautiful rammed earth walls, choosing this stunning material for its unique look and thermal qualities.
In 2012, their son Munro returned from 10 years overseas with the dream of developing a wedding and event space on the property that captured the magic of its special setting. Following two hard years construction, EarthHouse was completed in January 2015.
EarthHouse continues to evolve into the future and has already become one of the North Coast’s premiere destinations for weddings, accommodation and events.
